杨春生浪迹天涯,他一边周游列国,谈贸易,做项目,一边写诗,也常和国内外的朋友谈诗论艺。这是个见多识广、兴趣广泛的人,更是一个性情中人。杨春生已出的诗集,我最近读到的有《异域诗踪》和《情域羔羊》,他写作勤快,作品很多。前些日子在西安,是我们北京分手20年后的第一次见面。如果说20年前的他在中国诗歌的大森林里,只是一株暮裹祥云朝饮露的小树,那么经过20年境内、外,多国度、多跨度的生活磨练,如今,这棵小树已经长大,长的既可以和诗歌界的其他诗人相映成林,又可以在异国他乡的土地上独自成景。这不由得使我想到2007年的春天,北京电视台之所以在诗人如烟的诗坛选中他做“诗歌大使”,原因也在这里。杨春生在诗歌界人缘好,有很多朋友,这些朋友都喜欢他的诗,特别称赞他的探索与创新精神。

Yang Chunsheng has roved all over the world,touring various countries,conducting business and undertaking projects,all the while he has composed poems and discussed poetry and the arts with friends at home and abroad.He is a man with broad interests,widely-read and well-informed as well as a sentimentalist.Yang is diligent in writing and has produced abundant works.As for the works he has already published,recently I have read his poetry collections such as Poems Composed at Exotic Lands and A Lamb in the Domain of Love.A few days ago in Xi’an,we met each other again for the first time since we parted twenty years ago.If twenty years ago he was just a sapling sucking dew from among the great forest of Chinese Poetry,then after 20years of life,including multi-national travels and business at home and abroad,that sapling has now grown up into a towering tree that can both stand comparison with the other poets in the circle of poetry and Yang can build a beautiful scene of foreign lands all by himself.I cannot help thinking of the spring of 2007,when Beijing TV selected Yang as “An Envoy of Poetry”from a circle of full of talented poets.I think the reason is for this lies in Yang’s growth.Yang has a good fellowship in the circle of poetry and has made numerous friends who all love his poems and speak highly of his spirit of exploration and innovation.

这次我看到的《拆·当代诗人群雕108家》是他的新作,是他献给他的诗人朋友们的诗。他为这些诗友每人都做了一个诗的“雕像”。用他自己的话来说,就是他要用一首诗来“雕”一个中国当代诗人,“我可以‘雕’他(她)的风骨、气魄、流派、或诠释他的代表作。力争写出当代诗人的精、气、神。”〔见杨春生2009年5月31日给本文作者信。〕这部诗集是他忙里偷闲用了8个月时间完成的,写得非常自由放松,可谓随心所欲,毫无羁绊,一如他和这些诗人的交往,总是平平常常,无拘无束。但据他在北京和我聊天时告诉我,作品是写得很快,可研究这些诗人的作品和资料,他足足用了5年时间。

Now Group Statues:108Contemporary Chinese Poets contains his latest works,a poetry anthology he has dedicated to his poet friends.Just as he has said,in this book he is “sculpting”contemporary Chinese poets:“I will ‘sculpt’every poet’s vigor of style,imposing attitude,school of thoughts or interpret their masterpieces so as to depict the vital energy,mental faculty and spirit of contemporary poets to the utmost.”He completed this poetry anthology within eight months by taking a breather in the midst of pressing business and wrote in a very free and relaxed way.It could even be said that he wrote to his heart’s content and without any restriction,which resembles his associations with these poets,always anything but ordinary and feeling at his ease.Nevertheless,in his chat with me in Beijing,he told me that although he completed his works very fast,he had devoted five whole years to the research of these poets’lives and works.

最值得肯定的是他写作的这种彻底放松的状态,他纵情笔墨,率性而为,不拘一格,浑然天成。他的这个“群雕”,是由创作流派和写作风格各呈异彩的诗人所组成,所有诗篇因人而异,人各一面,绝不雷同。诗集的写作突显那些诗人特异的个性,各自独立的风格,集合起来,总体展现当今中国诗界多元化、无主潮、众声喧哗的动人局面。多向度,多诗体,多风格的刻画和综合,充分把握和体现了当今中国诗歌整体的时代风貌。

What deserves to be appreciated most is that kind of thorough relaxation in his writing.He truly indulges in writing,working to his heart’s content and composes his poems to a perfect design without being restricted by established conventions.His “group statues”is made up of poets from different creative schools and with their own personal writing styles.As a result,all the poems differ from each other in accordance with the various poets’peculiarities –they are characterful in their own ways,just like every person’s face.The composition of this poetry anthology makes these poets’characters and individual styles prominent;when put together,the whole collection displays the overall prosperous situation of Contemporary Chinese poetic circles:diverse,without a main-stream,full of sound and fury.This multi-dimensional,multi-genre and multi-style homage and synthesis has fully embraced and reflected the overall outlook of current Chinese poetry.

取得这一效果不仅是由于遒劲灵动的笔力,而更是洞察把握诗歌发展态势的能力。作者笔墨所到之处,或雅或俗,或实或幻,或庄或谐,放得开,收得拢,每一个人,每一座“雕像”,都是一道姿态各异、色彩明丽的风景。一百多首风格迥异的诗,一百多个各有异趣的人,联绵成篇,活生生地展示出当代中国诗界复杂而繁盛的生动场景。尤为可贵的是,这些诗的评介不是那种“冰冷”的“论述”,而是嵌入了、融汇了作者与他的描写对象之间的情感的互动,心灵的交流。这是一些流淌着激情、奔涌着热血的、血肉丰满的诗的雕刻。

The achievement of such an effect should be attributed to not only to Yang’s vigorous and agile literary composition but also his capacity to penetrate and capture the poetry’s developing state.The author has his own magic pen and ink and deals with every poem perfectly,elegant or vulgar,real or illusory,sometimes dignified sometimes humorous,sometimes wide open sometimes closed tight.As a result,every poet,every “group statue”is a landscape blessed with various postures and bright colors.Over one hundred poems with diverse styles and more than one hundred poets with individual characteristics join systematically into a collection and display animatedly a vivid scene of the complex and prosperous circle of contemporary Chinese poetry.Moreover,it is particularly valuable that these commentaries on the poets are not that kind of “ice-cold”“exposition”,but an interaction of affections and a communication of souls between the author and the objects he is portraying.In a word,this poetry anthology is a flesh-and-blood group of statues with passion flowing and blood flushing.

杨春生以这种方式为他所认识和景慕的朋友,倾注了他的满腔深情。因为他所刻画的也是我们所熟知的,使我们读之有一种如对熟悉的友人那样的感觉,有一种亲切感。例如他写海子,竟似是发自内心深处一声凝重的叹息:一个孤独的、永远长不大的孩子,苦苦寻找粘稠的泥浆中的影子。而我们只能在每年的三月,看风吹云起,潮涨潮落的轮回,“品面朝大海,春暖花开的凄美”〔见“当代诗人群雕”第015首《心中的海》。此诗副题为“海子去世20周年祭诗”,诗后缀有“2009-3-26连云港六步居泪毕”,并有注曰:“从不会哭的我,写完这首诗,哭了,哭得很惨,那是一个男人,流给另一个男人的泪。”〕。杨春生的这个“凄美”是对海子诗歌总体风格的精辟而到位的概括。
