从理论上讲,写史诗的任务是男诗人的事情,写大诗和又好又够分量的诗的任务,也需要成熟的男诗人来承担。因为中国的历史太悠久,中国的文化太成熟,太成熟的文化一定要由成熟的男人来驾驭。比如雕这个诗群,交给青年诗人,他们阅历太浅,知识尚在积累之中,他们只有激情,但创作这样的诗歌,仅有激情是不够的,还要有阅历,有经历,要有耐心。那是不是交给更成熟一些的“老年”诗人来写?老年诗人是有经验,但又被岁月无情的熬去了激情。况且他们的体力和精力都有所不支,应该说是心有余而力不足。所以说,这个吃力不讨好的任务只能交给中年诗人来承担可能更合理。也许您会问,中年时人多得是,难道非你莫属?我的回答当然是肯定的。原因有两个:第一,我更明白外国诗人或外国的中国诗歌爱好者更需要从什么角度去了解中国诗人。第二,你们不愿写这样的诗,你们有主意,有主张,你们要为你们的诗歌理念而奋斗,而我呢?我只是要把你“拆”了以后,再“雕”一个诗化了的你。

Theoretically speaking,the mission to compose epics should be placed upon the shoulders of male poets while the task of accomplishing great and authoritative poems should also be undertaken by mature male poets.As China is blessed with a long historical standing and fully-grown cultures,it must be the mature men’s turn to dominate the overripe culture.For instance,to devolve the task of sculpting the group statues to young poets,due to their limited experience and knowledge still under accumulation,they cannot accomplish the task with their passion only.As this great task requires experience and patience as well as the passions of youth,you will maybe ask why not pass this task to some “senior”poets?Admittedly,the senior poets are well experienced.However,they have had their passion worn out by ruthless time and tide.Furthermore,the strength and energy of the senior poets fails to support them,or I should say,their abilities fall short of their wishes.Therefore,it is probably more reasonable to assign the tough but thankless task to a middle-aged poet.Maybe you will ask,since there are countless middle-aged poets in China,why did it have to be you?Of course,I would give you a positive answer and I have two reasons,which are as follows:first of all,I am more conscious of the point of view that foreign poets and foreign lovers of Chinese poetry need to understand Chinese Poets;secondly,so many poets are reluctant to write poems of these kinds,as they have their own doctrines and propositions and they would strive for their own poetic ideals.And I would take pains to tear each poet apart,and then “sculpt”a new and poeticized one again.

《拆·当代诗坛108群雕》选择108位当代有代表性的诗人为对象,结合对他(她)们作品、创作风格、精神状态、外在和内在诗歌美学特点的研究,进行逐一分解、合成,每人形成一首诗。让读者在读诗的同时,可以揣摩诗人的神、形及内在和外在感觉,用诗歌的形式,来“雕塑”当代中国诗坛的一批中坚的、活跃的、有代表性、有创作潜力的诗人形象。

My book China Contemporary Group Statues of 108Poets has selected 108contemporary representative poets as its subjects,combined with a study of these poets’works,creative styles,mental states and aesthetic characteristics inside and outside of their poems.It has decomposed and recomposed these poets respectively to finally form a poem for each poet.I have “engraved”a batch of mainstream poet’s images -those who are active,representative,and creative within the Parnassus of Contemporary Chinese in the form of poems so that while the readers are appreciating my poems,they will weigh and consider the souls,images and internal and external feelings of these poets.

为了创作这108首诗,我精心准备了4年,创作则用了8个月(含出国)。其间,我对每一个纳入“拆”的范围的诗人,在力所能及的范围内,都做了相对全面的研究,当然,为了更便于表现每一个诗人的不同特点,我在每一首诗的手法、角度和创作技巧方面,都做了不同尝试。

In order to create the 108poems,I have made preparations for four years with utmost care and it took me eight months to complete all of the poems,including the period when I have been abroad.During the course of my creative period,I conducted comprehensive research into every poet within my range of “decomposing”within my power.Of course,in order to better display different features of every poets,I have made various attempts at the skills,angles and artistic techniques within each of my poems.
