The former residence of Chiang Kai-shek and his wife Song Meiling was located in De誂nli， Yuzhong District。 The building has a large corridor and balcony， with only a small door at the side。 It was at this door the well-known picture of Mao Zedong and Chiang Kai-shek standing shoulder to shoulder was taken。
