第119章 Red-leaved Treesand Green Rocks-Dong Bangda

Red-leaved Trees and Green Rocks, a Qing Dynasty(1644.1911) hanging scroll by Dong Bangda, ink and color on paper, 103.3cm×46cm, in the collection of the Palace Museum, Taipei.

Dong Bangda(1699.1769), a Qing painter, was good at drawing landscapes. His painting style followed Dong Qichang and could even be traced back to Dong Yuan. This landscape painting has a complicated composition, clear gradation and bright and elegant colors. It is a work drawn meticulously. There is an inscription of Emperor Qianlong in it.
