Tragic Legend of the Flower

Many people know Casablanca, but few people know it is the name of flowers. It is the most beautiful lily, which symbolizes the eight kinds of florid: a great love; the flowers full of memories; the love never be forgotten; the beloved never given up; the proud and world-weary flowers; the eternal beauty; the love that can not be afford; the silent watch.

In Greek mythology, the flower is a tragedy. According to legend, the couples meeting Casablanca were all hopeless romance with death as the end in this period. However, it has another unknown meaning that is happiness.

All things have two sides, love is the best embodies of this double-sided nature, it’s wounding but attractive, it makes people happy or desperate, why not choose happiness but despair? When someone sends you a bouquet of Casablanca, believe that happiness is its only meaning.

41. Egyptian Pyramids:A Great Miracle

Egyptian pyramids are the imperial tombs of ancient Egyptian slave. It is so named because of the shape like the Chinese character “gold”.

Miracle of the Pyramid

The ancient Egypt is one of the oldest ancient civilizations in world history. The Pyramid is a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian civilization and Egypt’s national symbol. They are located by the Nile River, in Sudan and Egypt.

The pyramids were the kings’ tombs in ancient Egypt. These rulers in history were called “Pharaohs”. The Pharaohs can rule the people when they are alive. They also imagined to become a god and dominate the nether world after death. After the Pharaoh’s death, the internal organs were removed and the body was impregnated with preservatives, filled in the spices and preserved chronically, called “mummy”. The pyramid was just the tomb that the Mummy was stored.

According to legend, before the Third Dynasty of ancient Egypt, whether the kings and ministers or the ordinary people, when they died, they would be buried into a rectangular grave built with mud-bricks. Later, a clever young man invented a new construction method when he designed tomb for the king. He used the square stones from the mountain instead of mudbricks, and continued to modify the design program of the tomb, and finally completed a trapezoidal pyramid, this is the prototype of the pyramid that we now see. Each side of the pyramid is a triangle, looks like the Chinese character “gold”, so we call it “pyramid”.

During the 2nd and 3rd dynasty, the Egyptians imagined that the king would become the God and his soul would enter the heaven after his death. There is a sentence in the Pyramid inscription: “Building up the ladder serves as a gigantic stairway by which the soul of the deceased pharaoh could ascend to the heavens.” The Pyramid was such a ladder. Meanwhile, the pyramid also expressed the worship for the God of the Sun and symbolized the sun rays piercing the sky.
