船长峡谷
从19世纪60年代开始，船长峡谷一直都是新西兰的皇后镇地区采金活动的中心，爱好冒险的游客们将这个20英亩大小的地方称为“船长大峡谷”。
船长峡谷还保存了许多金矿的遗迹，有些是经过整修的，游客可以进去探一探矿坑中的神秘气息。

峡湾国家公园
峡湾国家公园是世界上最大的国家公园之一，建于1952年，位于新西兰南岛西南端，面积为12120平方千米。

Winter Festival in Queenstown 皇后镇的冬季节
Winter Festival in Queenstown could date back to 1974， initially dominated this activity in order to ski. In the 1980s， it developed into a winter carnival， which celebration programs contained all kinds of lively activities， attracting tourists from around the world.
The annual Winter Festival is held in the late June to early July， with a period of about ten days. The Festival is throughout the streets of Queenstown， lakesides， watersides， snow mountain slopes， vineyards， valleys and gold villages.
During the festival， in the day， there are some of the natural and bizarre exhibits on show. In the evening， there are relaxed romantic jazz concerts， food tasting and competition， and crowded cocktail parties.
This festival is full of comedy entertainment. For example， some people wear fancy dresses and jump into the icy water. Some dogs and their owners play in ski slopes.
Winter Festival is a very exciting program including over 75 active projects. Here are a few representative activities：
Parade Floats
Parade floats are showed in the center of Queenstown. People crowd in the streets and enjoy the carnival until the day night dimming. Then the night sky of the city is filled with magnificent fireworks.
Snowmobile
Visitors can ride the motorcycle in the snow between the mountains. Just a little experience of driving or riding motorcycles without any equipment and techniques， you can enjoy the fun of snowmobiling.
Dance Competition
Queenstown also held “bird dance competition”. The rules of the game is that the more ridiculously and the more eccentricity they jump， the better they are. The celebration is quite worth watching.
