It is ascribed to my personality which prefer being quiet when in a new place that I did not really have a close friend during my stay in West High. However,I did make some foreign friends from Thailand,Korea,Puerto Rico and so on.
In spite of their foreign nationalities,American-like natures couldbe found potentially when interacting with them. They are all very out-going and open to people.I think that is the difference between Asiansand westerners.
Kristy is a Thai girl who came to Iowa when she was five. She is nearly 19 this year and just ready to graduate. In talking with her,I feel communicating With an adult. She has a part-time job of teaching kids, she learns nursing in a school in downtown and she has a boyfriend.Everything reflected on her has no mean of a teenager anymore. She canopenly speak out her love story without the face turning red.Possibly that’s why western teenagers are more ripen than contemporary Chinese do.
Will is a boy from Puerto Rico.He is different from Kristy. He came to Iowa not long before I came.Being with him, passion and en-thusiasm were always there surrounding you.He always has lots of things to talk about. Most of his friends are Spanish speakers and for-eign students. He is the same age as me.Will is a teenage boy that can make you feel energetic all the time.
And for girls from Korea and Mongolia, they are again different from those above.Interactions with people in America are just so fun like that.Everybody is different, reflecting a different background of so-ciety and culture. This is the United States where people from all over the world share a same roof.
