——To Mr.Old Nest，a Poet Who Comes From Anhui Province and Stays in Beijing
其实老巢的巢不在大山中
In fact，the Old Nest builds his nest neither in the
也不在树梢上？？老巢的巢
mountains nor on the treetop.Originally，the Old Nest’s nest
本来就在水里？？在安徽
was in the water，in the Nest Lake of Anhui Province，
在巢湖？？在一个从山西的
and in an ancestral temple of Yang Clan that drifted from
大槐树漂泊过来的杨氏祠堂里
the Big Chinese Scholar Tree of Shanxi Province.
老巢的的名字叫杨义巢
The real name of Old Nest is Yang Yichao，
一个有宗有祖有辈份的名字
a name having ancestors and seniority in the family.

长发飘飘的老巢当着安琪的面
Old Nest with long hair，in the presence of Angel，
谦逊的告诉我

老巢就是老杨家的一名男丁

These days Old Nest is busy making rice dumplings with
粽子？？？一直在用心灵深
his verse，and making red beans
处的精血做红豆
with the precious blood deep in his heart.
老巢包的粽子又大又有形
The rice dumplings Old Nest has made are so large
都是红馅的？？老巢说
and well-shaped，with each one filled with red stuffing.
汩罗江的鱼是通人性的
Old Nest said that the fishes in the Miluo River became
就是喂鱼？也要用心
humanized，too.So to feed them，you must do with your heart.”
现在老巢的巢搭在了北京
Now Old Nest builds his nest in Beijing，

是哪里我真的不清楚
I am not clear exactly whereabouts，

——To the Poet Old Iron from Jiangsu Province
遁入昆山深处的铁
Only the iron disappearing in the deep mountains
才是老铁？在山河破碎
is to be rightly called “Old Iron”.In the days when the country
或祖国山河一片红的日子里
has been disintegrated or the motherland is
自称老铁的人
thriving and flourishing，the so-called “Old Iron”
总能用铁浆铸就的发音器官
would always make his own clanging voice heard
铿铿锵锵出属于自己的声音
through the speech organs molded with iron liquid.
寸板儿头的男人
Old Iron，a man with inch-long hair，a man
比铁丝刷子还有个性的男人
who has a stronger character than iron wire brush，
掠芦花初绽的青斑苇为毛笔
grabs a livedo reed in blossom as a writing brush
视碧波粼粼的阳澄湖为端砚
and regards the sparkling blue lake as an ink stone.
仿旧如旧的春来茶馆里
at the Early Spring Teahouse，as usual，
一面喝着啤酒一面歌唱
he is drinking beer while singing songs
用一种比文字更加美好的韵律
with a rhythm more melodious than the
用诗用啤酒浸泡的感觉
words and an inspiration soaked with poetry and beer.
把诗歌唱成芦苇荡中的郭建光
So he sings in his poems heroes in reed marshes，
把诗歌唱成汶川地震中逝去的
and sings in his poems a requiem for numerous
重多生命的安魂曲
lives parting in Wenchuan Earthquake.
我们再也看不到那幢楼
“We would no longer see that building，
再也看不到那个教室、那张课桌
see that classroom，that school desk，
那支高高举起的稚嫩小手and
that tender little hand rising up high.
而那本字典
While that dictionary
成了学校废墟中的一部分
became a part of the ruins at school，
成了一个特写，在地震画面中
a close-up shows the picture of the earthquake
在荧屏上，像一个尖锐的汉字
and on screen，which resembles a keen-edged
切入所有的心灵
Chinese character cutting in the souls of every one.”
老铁是这样唱的
Old Iron sings like this.
掐指算来？这块铁
Pinch refers to calculation，this Old Iron
其实并不老？话又说回来
is not really that old，but then again，
其实真正的老铁
actually the real old iron
是不会生锈的
won’t rust，
磨得发亮的老铁
and the old iron that is rubbed shiny
真的是不会生锈的
won’t be truly rusty.
在樱桃泛红的季节
In a season when the cherry becomes ruddy，
我们可以用这块
we could strike the iron
取自昆山的铁
from deep mountains
打一把廉刀
into a sickle
我们可以用这把品相上好的镰刀
and then we could take this superior sickle
收获麦子？用那锋利无比的月芽
to harvest the wheat.And with such a sharp
收割月亮和月亮没有照顾到的
crescent moon，we could reap the moon
