Ni Zan（1301.1374）， a famous painter in the Yuan Dynasty， was proficient at painting landscapes， bamboos and rocks in ink and wash. Huang Gongwang， Wang Meng， Wu Zhen and Ni Zan were acclaimed as “Four Great Painters in the Yuan Dynasty.” His landscape painting has far-reaching impacts on later generations.
