As a typical literati painting， it depicts an ideal atmosphere in the heart of scholars. As it shows， hills are hidden in the mist， shaded trees and thatched cottages are situated among them， a pavilion is faintly discernible and a winding path leads to a secluded place. Its colors are simple butelegant.
