Jin Tingbiao， a court painter in the Qing Dynasty， did well in painting characters， landscapes and flowers. This painting is based on a historical story that a Feng-surnamed imperial concubine saves Emperor Yuandi of the Han Dynasty from black bear. It is usually used as a visual material to educate princes and imperial concubines. Judged from its neat style， it can be known a drawing by court painters. There is a poem inscription of a Qing emperor.
