没什么两样这里的
no matter three or five thousand years ago
彩霞与孤鹜落日与远帆
the rosy clouds and lonely ducks，sunset and remote sails here
直到留洋康桥的浪子
only when the poet Xu studing abroad
再别康桥时
saying goodbye to Cambridge
才跨越了孤树老藤
could cast off the lingering
昏鸦的缠绵
of a lonely tree，an old cane and dusk crow
这里有怒向刀丛的悲愤
here are grief and indignation to a forest of knives
有破船载酒的苍凉
and the desolation of loading wine by a broken boat
这里有些人死了
here some dead people
但是还活着
are still alive
这里一些人活着
while some alive
其实早已经死了
have already been dead actually
再往前当然是大堰河
go ahead of course there are Dayan River
是长江是黄河
Yangtze River and the Yellow River
滚滚长江东流去
the waters of the Yangtze River rolling on majestically
滔滔黄河天上来
the water of the Yellow River coming from the sky
再往前上帝
go ahead again the God
给了我们一双明亮的眼睛
giving us a pair of bright eyes
我们当然要用他去寻找光明
absolutely we should seek light with them

To poet Yang Ke
面目狰狞占卜者
ferocious looking the soothsayer
戴着面具站在弥漫着狼烟的
with mask stands alongside the bonfire in the smoke of wolves’dung
篝火旁与残风冷月之中
and among the dissipating wind and cold moonlight
或吐纳咒语或舞动权仗
revealing incantation or waving staffs of authority
然后跳一些只有土著黑人
and then dancing some ghosts dances
才能看懂的鬼魅舞蹈
only known by the aboriginal blacks
巫师横刀立马的样子
a wizard’s pose with horse and sword
煞是威严
so majestic
据说这一看似神秘的过程
it is said that this mysterious process
就完成了人与神的沟通
signified a communication between man and God
（仅仅是巫师一个人与神的沟通

正置身东非丛林深处

这时刻满神秘符号的旱龟龟甲
now the dry turtle shells carved with mysterious symbols
正在燃烧着的篝火边缘
at the edge of the burning bonfire
做着缓慢的爬这时磨得发亮的
crawl slowly and now the shiny
圆形野果和兽骨兽牙正围成一个大圈
Round fruit and animal bones and teeth surrounding a big circle
沿着巫师健壮的脖颈
along the strong neck of the wizard
依次绽放出神秘的白色的花
mysterious white flowers blooms successively
兽皮鼓被彪悍的黑人男子再次拍响
a hide drum is struck again by a husky black man
美丽的黑姑娘扭动着诗样的身子
the beautiful black girls are twisting their poetic bodies
虔诚自然的向
piously and naturally
不知所措的我围拢过来
approaching me，who is at a loss
吉西玛低声警告说吉西玛

圆圆的姑娘脸厐样的花瓣
petals like a girl’s round face
白嫩质感暗含羞涩
white，tender and textural implying shyness
站在栀子花芯的我
I，standing in the Tipped stamens of gardenia
再一次理了理春雨打湿的齐眉短发
once again I carding my short hair wet by the spring rain
扬手抹去爬在脖子上的
raise my hand to brush away the honey-fed worker ants climbing on my neck
足有一个班规模的
which are numerous enough to form a class
食蜜工蚁我再一此蹲下身子
I squat once more
俯视花瓣以下的空间
overlooking the room and below the petals
一些人一些生活在北京的人和
some people some people living in Beijing and
一些惊蛰后钻出地面的蠕动着的车辆
some wriggling vehicles which burrow up from the ground after the Awaking of Insects

今天是星期一这时的北京银装素裹
today is Monday the whole of Beijing is snow-covered
从东单到西单堵车从安定门外
there is a traffic jam from Dongdan to Xidan from the outside of Anding Gate
到土城子路我被堵了
to Tuchengzi Road I was blocked
整整一个半小时你不服不行
a whole hour you shouldn’t take it amiss
这就是北京这就是我带着我的诗歌
this is Beijing this is the place where I takemy poems
去寻找最冷酷的爱情的地方
to seek the grimmest love
中国作家我的诗歌经常失恋的地方
