到这里我才发现
Out here I found that
生长在非洲的花生
The peanuts in Africa
和家乡盛产的花生
And those in my hometown
穿着同一条裤子？花格子
Wear the same pants，
的裤子？浑圆的小模样
Lattice pants，perfectly round
扒开？粉嘟嘟的屁股
Push aside，pink butt
露在外面？让我想起自己的
Exposed，which reminds me of my
孩子？没满月时
Child，less than a month after he was born
令人怜爱的样子
The lovely looking
这里的花生？每一粒都
Peanuts here，every granule
婴儿一样？静静的躺在
Is like an infant，lying silently
赤道下深红色的泥土里
Beneath the scarlet earth under the Equator
婴儿一样吃饱了就睡
After being full then go to sleep as an infant
睡醒了就吃？这里的花生
And to eat after waking up，peanuts here
享用了赤道下的阳光的
Enjoy too much love of sunshine under the Equator
太多的爱？细看起来
To look carefully
一粒一粒都饱满的
Every granule is plump
有些营养过剩
Some are over-plump

Bigger than my child

This season，I can use a broom to sweep the snow
可以伸直双臂？叉开腿
And can stretch two arms with two legs apart
平展着身子躺在皑皑的北国雪地上
Lying on the snow-covered land of North China
对着天空大喊？我是男人
To cry to the sky that I am a man
一个大写的太？太阳的太
A big Chinese character Tai （“Chi”）
因为我可以用足够的阳刚？
Because I can use enough masculinity
向太阳证明我的伟岸
To prove to the sun how husky I am
太极生天地？太阴必生阳
Tai Chi breeds Heaven and Earth，Tai Yin must breed Yang
我知道天地人背后的故事
I know the stories behind Heaven，Earth and Human beings
白雪裹身的我？可以在凌烈的寒风中
My whole body is enveloped by snow，thus in the cutting cold wind
站成一棵树？立成一道墙
I can stand as a tree，stand as a wall.
这个季节？我可以狂草
This season，I can write with wild cursive hand
可以视蓝天为陋室一隅
And can take the blue sky as a corner of a humble room
视大地为三寸生宣
And can take the earth as three inches of Raw rice paper
那一日我一时兴起
That day I am on the spur of the moment
竟然用埽帚
Unexpectedly using a broom to
在原驰蜡象的中原雪地上？从容写下？
Write smoothly
天？为我的出现？？
The Chinese character “sky”，and to wait 10，000years
而苦等一万年？水？
For the turning up of me，water
为迎接我的到来？而静守八千年

寒江独钓桃花鲤
To fish carp in the cold river in solitude
梦中可擒三月春

这个季节我来到非洲
I come to Africa in this season
雨季的非洲？？多绿色而少苍茫
The Africa in rainy season with more grassiness and less brownness
我提着埽帚来到非洲？我的笔
I come to Africa with a broom，and my pen
产自中原？这里有太多的
Is made in China，there are too much
比中原的狼毫更多？更有质地的
Fine long hair of antelope and baboon
羚羊毫？狒狒毫？这里长颈鹿的尾巴
In this place，the tail of a giraffe
比我扫雪用的埽帚还大这里非洲雄狮的鬃毛
Is bigger than my snow sweeping broom，and the mane of African male lion
比我狂草用的埽帚？更刚烈
Is more upright than my broom
更显柔中藏锋？笔走东非自成诗
The sharpness is hidden in a soft move，and a poem is done after a tour in East Africa
人过丛林鸟兽迎？我任性的伸开双臂？
Birds and beasts are greeting me，I hold out my arms

青翠的非洲出现在雨季
The green Africa turns up in rainy season
十二月？赤道下的非洲
In December，in Equatorial Africa
雨水是唤醒万物的
Rain is the most beautiful gift to wake up to
最美好礼物？我看见身穿红棉袄的
Everything on earth，I see
圣诞老人？大汗淋漓的赶着天车
Santa Claus in his red clothes driving a sleigh dripping with sweat
飞奔而来？多梦的非洲
Galloping here，Africa with abundant dreams
也有圣诞？白皮肤和黑皮肤的
And Christmas，white and black
圣诞老人？神行诡秘的
Santa Claus with his secretive whereabouts
穿着大红袄？掠走了多少
In a red coat，plundering
黑黝黝的？非洲孩子的梦
The black African children’s dreams
吃藓苔的麋鹿来到非洲
The David’s deer feeding on lichen comes to Africa
啃上几口鲜嫩爽口的黄茅草
Nibbling a mouthful fresh yellow couch grass
竖起一只粗大的踢子？直夸
Bending a big and strong hoof to praise
味道好极了？这时的我
The good taste，at the moment I
正和前来迎接我的非洲朋友
And my friends greeting me
为一首诗和一段即将开工的道路
Are busy with a poem or a road to build
忙碌着？？拉斯维加斯不在美洲
Las Vegas is not in America
蒙芭萨的拉斯维加斯也不是赌城
Las Vegas is not a gambling city in Mombasa
这是浸泡在西印度洋边的一个酒吧
This is a bar beside the West Indian Ocean
一个让人流连忘返
A place you won’t want to leave
又可以谈判？聊天的好地方
And a place to negotiate and chat
合欢树？？白沙滩
Acacia farnesiana and white sand beach
上帝的手？幻作巨浪
The hand of God miraculously transformed into billow
浪涌上岸？酒吧被上帝
The billow reaches the beach，and the bar
稳稳的抱在怀中？浪返回印度洋？
Is held tightly by God，the billow retreats
则酒吧？又被上帝
Then the bar is
轻轻的？放在沙滩上
Put down gently by God in the beach
我开始和玛伊古特喝象牙啤酒
I begins to drink ivory beer with Mayigute
吃素库玛？一个又一个印巴女孩
And eating Sukumar，one after one Indian-Pakistani girl like a dream
向我走来？梦一样的印巴女孩
Approaches me
扭动着水一样的腰肢？印度洋的水？
Swing and sway their waist，and the water of Indian Ocean
于无声处？悄悄的漫过我的双脚
Overflowing my feet silently
上帝说？人间真好？
God says that the world is really nice

我用天车给非洲送来了礼物
I give gifts to Africa with chariot in heaven
