这些啤酒就摆在诗人面前
these beers are placed in front of poets
男诗人？女诗人
poets，poetess
年老的诗人？？年轻的诗人
senior poets，young poets
这些啤酒沿最繁华的街道
these beers along the most bustling street
一字摆开？排成唐诗？宋词？
are arranged in a row as Tang poetry，as poetry of the Song Dynasty
排成现代汉诗歌最新锐？最精华的部分，
as the insightful essence of the modern Chinese poetry
大排挡的小摊主
the vendor of the large stall，
那个胖嫂的脸笑成了一朵花
that plump sister，laughs like a blooming flower

那个瘦哥的眼前飘过的一定不是诗
that lean brother，what floats across him is definitely not poetry
而是诗人口袋里？一张张零散的钞票
but pieces of banknotes from poets’pockets
诗人不是商人？诗人从不比阔
poets are not merchants，for they never compete for extravagance with others，
诗人不是官员？诗人也从不讲排场？
poets are not officials，for they are never ostentatious
一字排开的酒瓶？绿色的酒瓶？
wine bottles arranged in a single line，green bottles
枪榴弹一样直抵天空？
point at the sky like rifle grenades
你可以看成是刚洗过的毛笔
you can take them as newly-washed writing brushes
也可以看成是刚写成的诗歌
or just-finished poems.
其实在北京我最喜欢和老巢喝啤酒
actually in Beijing I prefer to drink beer with Senior Chao
老巢来自安徽？和老巢喝
who comes from Anhui；drinking with him
就顺手捎带了北漂的安徽诗人
simultaneously makes mention of Northern-traveling Anhui poets
和老巢喝啤酒没有太多的讲究
there is no need to be particular when drinking beer with Lao Cao
一碟水煮花生几根山东大葱
a plate of water-boiled peanuts and several green Chinese onions from Shandong Province
从蓝月亮升起来喝到红亮升起来
from the rising blue moon to the sun rising
一直喝得老巢长发飘飘
drinking till Lao Cao’s hair is floating in the air
两腿发飘？喝得我两眼发直十指发直
and his legs tremble；and till my two eyes are filled with a dull look and my ten fingers are stiff.
这时胖胖的刘不伟
at this moment fatty Liu Buwei
就会迈着猫步猫到我的面前说
catwalks in front of me and says
喝？哥？咱倆整一个
drink，brother，bottoms up！
这时的安琪就脸色绯红
then Anqi’s faces turns rosy
整一朵五月桃花挂在诗歌的枝头
like a sweet-scented osmanthus in May blooming in the branch of poetry
在北京我还喜欢和刘以林喝
in Beijing I also like to drink with Liu Yilin
干？刘以林总是那么冷血的坐在那里
bottoms up He always sat there with indifferent expressions on his face
是兄弟就整一扎？刘以林拿过大酒杯
we finish twelve bottles for brotherhood Liu Yilin fetched the large wine cup

都是走过三位数国家的诗人

now it is in Nanjing——-ancient capital of Six Dynasties
我最喜欢和马永波喝啤酒
I like to drink beer with Ma Yongbo best
和马永波聚在一起？我就会想起
drinking with him I would think of
木村唱的那首？咱们都是东北人
the song “we all are northeast people”sung by Mu Cun
可以想像两个各一百公斤的诗人
imagine the capacity for liquor of the two poets with respectively 100Kg
的酒量？想像身高一米九的马永波
imagine that 1.9m in height，Ma Yongbo，
一但动了真感情？和一个他叫大哥的
once getting excited，drinking beer with his brother
一米八以上的诗人喝啤酒时
A 1.8m ——a poet
那憨态可掬的样子？每当这时？
had a charmingly na？ve look at this moment
黄梵？育邦？马龄薯兄弟
brothers such as Huangfan，Yubang，Malinshu
就会很温柔很温柔的坐在那里看热闹
could be gently seated there and watch the fun
杯中的酒总在冒着黄泡可就是不见减少
but the beer in the cups，sending up tawny bubbles，is never lessened
我知道？这是几只石头城里最会唱歌的鸟
I know they are the several birds that sing best in Stone city————-
男中音？男低音？男高音一应俱全
baritone，bass，tenor are all crowding here together
因为他们都是民族歌手？所以乐队也只有
for they all are the national singers and the band is only consist of
一把古筝和一个女人
one ancient plucked instrument and a woman
我一直算计着哪天到福州和顾北大喝一场？
I am continuously planning a day to go to Fuzhou and have a drink with Gu Dabei
开着个老刀铺子的顾北？我魂迁梦绕
who opens a knife stall and the poet whom I pine for
一直想见的诗人？我知道福州很开放也很好客
a visit to the people I know in Fuzhou who are outgoing and hospitable
但我还是想象着在福州找一片最火爆的大排挡坐下来
but I still think about finding the hottest stall in Fuzhou
和顾北干一次？？对？我们就坐在闽江边喝
and have a happy drink with Gu Bei right we drink the beer at the side of Ming River
对着闽江开酒瓶？对着闽江吹
opening the beer and drinking at the side of it
我们要么不喝？要喝就一瓶一瓶的对着嘴吹？
we never drink but drink one after another bottle
吹？懂吗？抬头挺胸
Drink，do you understand？That is to say，you chin up and chest out
嘴里插着个冲天炮？咕嘟？咕嘟？咕嘟
with a firecracker in the mouth bubble，bubble，bubble，
几个男人在叫劲几个女人在笑
several men have a tactic contest against each other，and
several women laugh happily
我是说福建的男诗人
what I said is Fujian male poets
（当然包括漳州的老皮呵呵）和女诗人
（certainly including Laopi from Zhangzhou）and poetess
那时可能是八月
that was in August
是南方的桂花和北方的桂花
when the northern and southern sweet-scented osmanthus
同时怒放的时候？那是一个可以收获的季节
simultaneously bloom；that was a harvest season
一个可以吃西瓜也可以吃荔枝的季节
a season when one is able to eat watermelon and lichee
我们坚决不在酒吧交杯？为了我们的诗歌
we never have drink in the bars for the sake of our poetry
我们一定要在闽江边的大排挡喝
we must drink at the stall along the Ming River
喝在黄昏？醉卧黄昏
drink in the dusk，and be drunk in the dusk

白马？高大英俊
A white one，tall and handsome
四蹄生辉？曾几何时
With sparkling four hooves，before long
他就是这片土地的主人
He is the owner of this land
漫坡的青草
Grass covers the gentle slope
就像他梦中情人
Looks like his sweetheart lover in dream
两小无猜的青草
The innocent grass
曾在无数个月圆之夜
Used to swear to him at numerous full-moon nights
向他盟誓？发誓在自己
That when they grown up
长大以后？一定要为他献身
They will devote to him body and soul
