那次从塞外归来？你就病了
Returning from the northern frontier You are ill
大漠孤烟？你的背影
In the desert Your backs
被悬挂在魔鬼城头的夕阳
Stretched long by the setting sun hanging in the devil city
拉得很长？胯下的白马
The white horse you rode
你引以为豪的神驹
A miracle horse you are proud of
在软弱无力的残喘中
Now in its weak breath
除了咴咴的打几声响鼻
Besides the whinnying sounds
就只能靠回忆来幻想
Just can image by memories
四蹄生风的雄壮
Its glorious past
这时的驼铃？大漠深处的天籁之音
The camel bell is the heavenly voice belonging to the depth of desert
只属于那个叫古兰丹姆的女孩
It belongs to a little girl named Gulan Danmu
想起清水河边一个个
Thinking of the felt rooms
比蘑菇还要鲜嫩的毛毡房
Fresher than mushrooms by the riverside
你就想起了古兰丹姆
Gulan Danmu is in your mind
想起了马奶酒？馕和浓浓的酥油茶
So are the koumiss crusty pancake and the strong buttered tea
那片昂扬的胡扬林？楼兰
The prosperous poplar forests，Loulan
一个让你魂牵梦绕的女子的化身
The embodiment of the girl of your dreams
大漠中久经风沙的残片
The wastes making his way through the storm and wind in the desert
比你胯下苟延残喘的白马
Of more vigorous style in poems
更具诗歌的风骨
Than the white horse you are riding
当你知道大漠的天空？本很旷茫
Knowing there is nothing in the sky of the desert
根本就没有雷鸣电闪时
No thunder rumbles and lightning flashes
你才知道雷霆被大自然抛弃的无奈
You know the helplessness of thunder discarded by nature
其实在这里？一瓢水？一个鹿皮水囊的诱惑
Here a splash of water or a deerskin pocket of water
足可以融化一个男人？足可以
Can thaw a man
将来势凶猛的雷霆融化？融化成
Enough to melt the ferocious thunder
一份绝望？一份被爱？一份在都市里
Into a mood of desperate，love and a common charity
司空见惯的施舍

哪里还有诗歌？我的诗

那首比啊克苏的石头还要坚韧的诗
The one is tougher than the stones in A Kesu
曾几何时丢盔弃甲？曾几何时
Fleeing and throwing everything once
被一个小小的古兰丹姆的
Once is absorbed by a slight grin
一个浅浅的笑意
In the face of little Gulan Danmu
收入怀中？你知道诗人的艰辛了
You know the hardship of the poet
也知道了诗歌的艰辛？马是不能骑人的
And that of the poems A horse cannot ride a person
但为了诗歌？你让马
But for poems You let the horse
骑着你的心？艰难跋涉
Ride your heart Trudging on
我并不知道？其实幻觉也是一种造化
I do not know the illusion can also be a luck
一种遥远的呼唤和遥远的爱情
A remote shout and distant love
从魔鬼城到达板城
From devil city to Daban city
我是你的影从北京到阿克苏到和田
I am your shadow From Beijing to A Kesu and then to He Tian
我还是你的影子？又红又烫的戈壁滩

当我们意识到沙丘

就是大漠被感染的

我们只能无奈的将准备带走的诗歌
We have no other choices
从南疆带到北疆？然后
Taking the poems from south Xinkiang to north Xinkiang
依依不舍的留在了北疆
And then keeping them lingering in north Xinkiang

Statue 79：When I Cross the Yellow River Again
——致河北诗兄大解先生的诗
——To a poet in Hebei，Da jie
再过黄河时诗歌又被染上了一层黄
The poems are dyed with a layer of yellow when I cross the Yellow River again
金黄？砂金一样的黄
The golden yellow as the golden dust
粒粒金黄？层层金黄
Every particle and every layer is golden
一串金黄色的巨型葫芦
A strand of golden huge calabashes
就象一串金黄色的汉字
Like a strand of golden Chinese characters
在黄河上漂？一个又一个
Drifting on the Yellow River one by one
比肥羊还要肥的羊皮筏子
The sheepskin raft is fatter than fat sheep
今天看起来？比以往的任何时候
It looks more creative today
都显得更有创意
Than any other time
其实我的诗就是坐在黄河边写成的
I wrote my poem actually sitting besides the Yellow River
金黄的河水？金黄的骄阳
Golden river Golden sun
金黄的谷子？金黄的麦田
Golden millet Golden cornfield
金黄的黄花菜？金黄的郁金香
Golden day lily Golden tulips
金黄的？有着黄皮肤黑眼睛的
Golden with yellow skin and black eyes
黄河后人？小浪底
The descendents of the Yellow River at Xiaolangdi
一个大写的浪？大浪滔滔
A capitalized wave is surging
荡尽？岁月沧桑的同时
Cleaning up while the day is lined with age
也淘尽人间冷暖
Washing off the heat and cold in the world
都说黄河有九十九道弯
